This directory is a listing of University approve agencies for 199R and 496R Academic internships in the Recreation Management and Youth Leadership Department.

This Directory Provides the Following Information:

Name, address, telephone, and fax number of the agencies.

  1. Name of contact person in the agency.
  2. Type of internship: 199R or 496R.
  3. Description of the internship or practicum experience.
  4. Internship benefits: salary, housing, board, insurance, etc.
  5. Application process agency would like intern to follow.

While efforts have been made to provide some screening of agencies prior to inclusion in this directory, the department does not endorse nor guarantee the quality of internship offered by these agencies.

Included in this directory is all the information the department currently has on the agency. Further information may be obtained by calling or writing to the agency. Ofttimes, internship supervisors may also have additional information.

While an agency being included in this directory does mean it has been approved by the department, individual internships may vary from intern to intern. Each intern should continue advisement with internship coordinator for specific internship approval.

Each student in addition to making sure the agency has a contract with BYU, must also fill out a Student Agreement, showing proof of insurance and internship dates. Please see secretary or Internship Coordinator for an agreement.
